A warm welcome to our students at School of Creative Media (SCM) ! We will have a mandatory Student Orientation on 23 August 2022 (Tuesday), which is crucial for new students to enjoy life at SCM.

Refers to the University's temporary measures imposing a maximum of 50% seating capacity of the venue under the COVID-19 restrictions, students who wish to join in-person have to register in advance for a place with their CityU EID email address. Places will be allocated on a first‐come‐first‐served basis.
Please find the registration link for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Programmes below. A confirmation email will be sent to the registered students on 22 August afternoon. If you don't receive the confirmation email, please check your Spam folder just in case the email got delivered there instead of your inbox.
In order to further protect the health and safety of school staff and students, students have to complete a Regular Rapid-Antigen Test (RAT) before returning to school. RAT should be conducted in that morning. Please take a photo of your RAT test result for our staff checking. Students tested positive should not return to school, and should inform the school of their positive results and report to the Department of Health as soon as possible.
To facilitate SCM Freshman to CMC on 23 August, free shuttle bus service will be arranged at the ground floor outside Lift #1 of Yeung Kin Man Academic Building (AC1/ YEUNG Bldg.) at 09:20 am, 10:45 am and 10:55 am that day. Students must show their valid student card for using the coach. Non-SCM students are not accepted.
You can also walk from main campus to CMC via Student Residence. Please fill the online declaration form for access Student Residence in advance. For details please refer to http://www.cityu.edu.hk/sro/FacilitiesProvision/HallFacilities.htm
All persons attending Student Orientation 2022, except those exempted, are required to comply with the requirements under the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance (Cap.599) including: Scan the "LeaveHomeSafe" QR code before being allowed to enter the venue; Wear a mask at all times; No food or drink is allowed at the venue. Please arrive earlier to avoid delaying your participation as longer time is required for such registration.
In the event of Typhoon Signal Pre-No. 8 or above or a Rainstorm Black Warning being hoisted, the University / School Orientation Programmes on 23 August 2022 will be postponed to Friday, 26 August 2022. The schedules will remain unchanged.
The arrangements may be subject to change, in response to the latest University regulations made under the Cap. 599 Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance. Please check our website and social media for latest updates. Thank you for your cooperation.
