Creative Media students continue to excel in the third year of the SCM Chinese New Year Card Competition! They put together many ideas and animation learnings to create animated cards to celebrate the Year of the Dragon. The most distinguished design this year (as shown below) was from BA Creative Media student Devina Catherine Hung, who animated the dragon dance up high from the CMC building to celebrate the new year. She was honored on 6 February by Prof Richard Allen, Dean of SCM, who found the animation entries festive and fun.

The winning design of the animated card was sent out as the official 2024 SCM Chinese New Year greetings for the CityU community, arts community and school partners.
