The Year of Rabbit bounced in with SCM greetings and student creations! In the second year of the SCM Chinese New Year Card Competition, students put together many ideas and animation learnings to create animated cards to celebrate the new year. The most distinguished design (as shown below) was created by BA Creative Media student Tang Wing Ka who brought together an energetic rabbit and the CMC Building under the new year vibe.  Tang was honored on 19 January by Mr Ip Yuk Yiu, Associate Dean (UP&AA) of SCM, who found it joyful viewing the fun and vibrant student designs.

The winning design of the animated card was sent out as the official 2023 SCM Chinese New Year greetings for the CityU community, arts community and school partners.
