Synopsis:

The film captures the life of a shunt woman. To tell a story from the time she gets injured accidentally and how she gets through the struggle and self-suspicion. How she handles the hope and desire from the family. Action design is special in a student film so I want to do something different and related to my interest. I want to tell the audience that although the world and the future are messy. We can wait until dawn. This project is a record of my mental state, a longing, a wish, and a release to the place I love.

內容簡介:

這部電影是關於一位女性動作特技人的生活。講述女主角從她意外受傷到她如何度過掙扎和自我懷疑的故事。她如何處理家庭的希望和渴望。動作設計在學生電影中是很特别，所以我想做一些與我的興趣不一樣的事情。我想告訴觀眾，儘管世界和未來都是混亂的。我們可以等到黎明。這部電影是我精神狀態的記錄，是一種渴望，是一種願望，也是對我愛的地方的一種釋放。

More Than a Housewife 功夫

Synopsis:

This is a documentary film about exploring my mother's life philosophy by having a peek into her career as a couture tailor.

“Couture” is a French word of dressmaking, which is used to describe the clothing produced by fashion designers. However, “couture” means more than that, it is not just about covering the body, but a presentation of your taste, lifestyle and status.

“Tailor” is a person who makes, repairs or alters clothing professionally with great needlework. And “needlework”, is one of the standards to evaluate woman as a good wife in a traditional Chinese society

As a couture tailor and a housewife in Hong Kong, what will she experience and what is her thoughts towards her life? How does she cope with her customers, family and the society? This film is having an exploration on it.

內容簡介:

透過窺探母親擔任高級訂製裁縫的職業生涯，理解她累積多年的生活哲學。

「高級訂製」源自法語“Couture”，解作「製衣」，是時裝設計師生產的服裝的代名詞。但是“couture”的意義不僅在於遮蓋身體，還是展現個人品味，生活方式和態度的一種途徑；「裁縫」是指以極高的針黹水平製造，修理或改衣的專業人士，而「針黹」在傳統中國社會中是一種婦功，其中一種量度女性是否為好妻子的標準之一。

作為身在香港的高級訂製裁縫和家庭主婦，她會有甚麼經歷？她對自己的生活又有何想法？她與客戶、家庭和社會之間的關係究竟又是怎樣？這部紀錄片與你一同探索。

Artist Statement:

"Life existence has no objective meaning, purpose"

From the emergence of religion to the rise of science, we have been seeking explanations and value to the world. In the process of seeking answers, we inadvertently impose some social constraints and values on ourselves to some extent. These chains and values may cause us pain and despair. The three chapters correspond to three negative values "revenge", "crazy" and "guilt". The character steps towards death, the old value disappears/dead following the character's pace.

「大道無門，千差有路」「生命的存在沒有客觀的意義和目的」

從宗教的出現到科學的興起，我們一直在尋求對世界的解釋和價值。在尋找答案的過程中，我們無意中在某種程度上強加了一些社會約束和價值觀。這些鏈條和價值觀可能使我們感到痛苦和絕望。這三章對應於三個負值「復仇」，「瘋狂」和「內疚」。角色走向死亡，舊有的價值隨著消失。

Synopsis:

The story is surrounding a girl with eczema. She feels herself different from others because of the starches and inflamed skin. She cares a lot about the appearance and hides the inflamed skin under the clothes and bandage. The girl has tried many ways to recur and reduce the symptom. Unfortunately, those methods could not cure the symptom.

Every day and night she is suffering under the uncomfortable itchy feeling that makes her feel frustrate and depress. In a moment that she feels powerless and realizes there is no way for her to have the “perfect” skin like others. The girl eventually chooses to let go and recognizes a difference between others and herself.

內容簡介:

故事是關於一個患有濕疹的女孩。因為澱粉和皮膚發炎，她覺得自己和別人不一樣。她很在意外表，把發炎的皮膚藏在衣服和繃帶下。為了減輕復發和症狀，女孩試過很多方法。遺憾的是，這些方法都無法根治症狀。

每一日每一夜，她在難受的瘙癢感下煎熬，令她感到沮喪和郁悶。那一刻，她感到無能為力，意識到自己沒有辦法像別人一樣擁有「完美」的皮膚。女孩最終選擇了放手，認識到別人和自己的不同。

The Last Breath 田野裡的嘆息

Synopsis:

After experiencing the land resumption conflict in 2016, the Ma Shi Po village now seems to calm down in this short moment which they can’t predict when the next storm is coming for them. There is still a needle buried deep in heart, waiting for it to come is the gradually approaching pressure pushing the needle into the heart until the field exhales the last breath.

內容簡介:

經歷2016年的收地矛盾後，現在的馬屎埔村似乎在這短短的一瞬間平靜了下來，村民無法預知下一場暴風雨何時降臨到他們身上。還有一根針深埋在心底，等待漸漸逼近的壓力，將針推入心臟，直到田野吐出最後一口氣。

Visitor Arrangements

Advance booking is required. To visit on Saturday or Sunday, please note that you must pre-register 2 working days before the appointment. Online registration will be closed on every Friday 5pm. QR code cannot be shared. Each visitor has to register in advance.

All visitors entering the University Campus must be pre-registered via the Visitor Registration System (VRS). The VRS can be accessed via Office Admin under AIMS by departmental staff who has the VRS access privilege.

Once the visitor's information has been submitted via the VRS, an email attached with a specific QR code will be sent to the visitor. The visitor must show the QR code and present his/her personal ID to the security staff at campus entrance on the day of the visit. After confirmation, the visitor will be given a label which is valid for the day.

Temperature scanning at campus entrance and facemasks are mandatory for all admitted visitors. Special arrangements will be implemented in line with the latest restrictions under the Prevention and Control of Disease Ordinance.

訪客安排

訪客需要提前預約。如要在周六及周日參觀，請注意必須在到訪日的2個工作天前登記預約。網上預約於每周五下午5時截止。

所有進入大學校園的訪客必須通過訪客登記系統（VRS）進行預先登記。有關訪客登記系統的個人資料收集聲明(PICS)詳情，請點擊這裡。有VRS登記權限的部門員工可以通過大學AIMS下的Office Admin為訪客進行登記。

當來訪者的信息通過VRS提交後，一封附有特定QR碼的電子郵件將發送給來訪者。訪客必須在訪問當天向校園出入口的保安人員出示二維碼並出示個人身份證件。經確認後，參觀者將獲得一個當日有效的訪客標貼進入大學。

所有訪客必須在校園入口處進行體溫掃描和佩戴口罩。本校將根據《預防及控制疾病條例》的最新限制作出特別安排。
