Playful Media is an annual event showcasing current SCM students’ outstanding works. It is organized by the Special Interest Group (SIG), a group of passionate SCM students.

Playful Media was established in 2007 and has developed into a leading hub for creativity and innovation in Hong Kong. It aims to provide a platform to students, who are earnest, creative and passionate about media art and digital entertainment, to present their creative works to the general public. The Playful Media Showcase has been very successful since its debut and has aroused great interest from the educational sector, the creative industry and the general public.

This year, Playful Media 2018 will highlight some of the latest innovative media elements in response to our goal of promoting inventive media technology. It will exhibit selected artworks of various media ranging from Animation and Digital Visual Effects, Games, Graphics and Design, Installation and Interaction, Photography to Solar car.
