Wang Yuhui is a PhD candidate in School of Creative Media, City University of Hong Kong. Her research projects mainly focus on the reception of Hollywood melodrama in China before 1949. Currently, she is working on the narrative possibility of Hitchcock's adaptation in the digital era. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature, and a MA in Film and Drama Studies from Sichuan University.
