Dr Park Ji Yun is a multidisciplinary artist and researcher exploring the more-than-human ecosphere. With a focus on plant humanities, she experiments with moving image, illustration, and photography to deconstruct species hierarchies and rethink multispecies cultures. Ji Yun's work invites viewers to contemplate their relationship with nature and the interconnection of lives.

Her ecocinema work (Welcome to) The Planet of Orchids, which culminated her doctoral studies, premiered at the 50th Seoul Independent Film Festival as a feature film finalist and is currently ongoing in its film festival circuit.

Ji Yun obtained her doctoral and master's degrees from the School of Creative Media at City University of Hong Kong, and her bachelor's degree from the School of Film, TV & Multimedia at Korea National University of Arts.
