Background

Park Jiyun (Jade) is researching new media art practics in urban public space. Her interests focus on environmental sustainability and interactivity of media art in the context of urban ecology. As a media artist, she mainly works with experimental film, and have a particular interest in ecology, feminism and disassembling human body. The media she uses is based on cinematic art, with a style combining video footage with 3D animation, photography and even with other mediums such as performance or theatrical elements. Her works have been exhibited in Seoul, Hong Kong and Zurich. She obtained her bachelor's degree in Korea National University of Arts and master's degree in City University of Hong Kong.
