By mix and match with different kinds of electric parts like resistor and capacitor on Firefly, the user could focus on listening to the emitted sound and learning the relationship between electronic flow and sound. Each unique circuit path of Firefly created its own voice to interact with the environment and the audience's movement in the space.

2. Nausea 《嘔吐》
WU Tsz Ki 胡芷淇 | 22'56"
A story of the contemporary loneliness by situating a mother and daughter's interactions within a house.
3. My River Runs to Thee 《我們在憂鬱的夏天把自己殺死了》
TAM Lok Yee Christy 譚樂怡 | 21'54"
Ancient tales whisper of rivers divine: Beneath the bridge, a holy waterline. The masses believe it can absolve the sin, cleansing the soul from deep within.
Relics of the departed are set adrift, a final gift, creating a rift between the earthly and the heavenly - a practice of liberation, a journey of serenity.
Two souls, a man and a woman, strangers in their plight, caught in a dance between shadow and light, illusion and reality taking flight due to a man.
Through the eye of a camera, their solitary paths intertwine. In each other, they find salvation, their inner gloom dissolving in the river's undulation.
4. Ahead, Far Ahead《海底隧道》
WU Leong Hin 胡諒軒 | 29’59”
This film centers around a young man named Lai Hoi-fai, who works at a video store in Hong Kong. His main job is to digitize old family videos from tapes. One day, by chance, he meets a customer of a similar age named Ah Yan. Together, they visit the toll booth in the Western Tunnel where Hoi-fai's mother works, and through their journey, they express their helplessness towards separation and change.

“Sunflowers reach for the warmth of the sun; roses with their thorns long for a tender embrace filled with love."
Inspired by my own childhood experiences, I speak on behalf of my younger self and the voices of powerless children that have been neglected. Through a 2D animation, the sunflower and rose represent growth, exploring the complex love-hate dynamics within a family and expressing the unbearable pain when one's closest loved ones cannot understand you.
2. Journey Beyond
YING Valerie Naomi

Journey Beyond is a captivating 3-minute 2D hand-drawn animation that delves into the intriguing realm of afterlife from a fun and positive perspective. This animation takes viewer on a transformative journey through various stages of the afterlife, providing a glimpse into what awaits individuals beyond the mortal realm.
3. Drowning 沉溺
Yorki LEE 李若綨
2022 | 4’48” | No dialogue
When ignorance, loneliness, chaos, and craving fill the brain, what does it feel like to be alive? In a sick society, a sick person arises. This person maybe you and I. In the story, the interaction between the lonely girl and the plant, the weird delusion, and the incomprehensible desire explore the feeling of being alive. The word “drowning” means the girl couldn’t feel anything in her life, and she gets drowning in her delusion. I used 2D animation to present the inner world of the little girl and describe her mysterious delusion journey.

Mindfulness is a story about inner peace and self-acceptance. A fisherman sits alone by the lake, but the distractions around him make him restless. As his anxiety grows, his chaotic thoughts take shape as spirits that disturb him, gradually pulling him into an emotional whirlpool...
Be self-aware, calm our mind, and we may return to a state of tranquility.

WONG Ka Chun
