BScCM Alumna Lau Mo-sheung Grace Named among 2025 Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection

The School of Creative Media (SCM) is delighted to announce that our alumna, Lau Mo-sheung Grace, has been honoured in the 2025 Ten Outstanding Young Persons Selection, organised by the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong. Grace—a graduate of the Bachelor of Science in Creative Media programme and currently ranked #1 in women’s world kata—was one of ten awardees selected from five categories: Civic and Social Services; Commerce and Industry ; Education; Performing Arts/Sports/Culture and Arts; and Professionals.
Grace won bronze in the women's kata event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan, becoming the first Hong Kong athlete to win an Olympic medal in karate. She is a three-time medallist in the women's individual kata event at the World Karate Championships. She is also a medallist in this event at the Asian Games. She is an eight-time medalist, including three gold medals, at the Asian Karate Championships. In August 2025, Grace won the gold medal in the women's kata event at the 2025 World Games.
