Dr. Lo is a visually impaired scholar and creative practitioner whose research bridges disability studies, feminist theory, and Sinophone cultural analysis. He holds a PhD in Cultural Studies from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where his dissertation explored the representation of disability in Chinese literature and film through a transnational lens. His work introduces the concept of "crip genealogies" to examine how disability identity and citizenship are shaped across Sinophone contexts.

Dr. Lo has taught at various tertiary institutions on gender, sexuality, disability arts and intersectionality. He was a visiting scholar at UC Berkeley in 2024, supported by the Hong Kong Arts Development Council. His writing, academic and artistic curatorial work contributes to inclusive arts education and critical disability discourse in Hong Kong and beyond.
