Luoying is a PhD candidate in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) at City University of Hong Kong, working with Prof. Shengdong Zhao and Dr. Zhicong Lu. She researches the complex dynamics of Human-AI Interaction to understand and mitigate the societal and emotional risks arising from intelligent systems. By leveraging her industrial design background to blend design thinking with HCI methodologies, Luoying aims to develop frameworks and insights that foster responsible, human-centered AI.
