Synopsis

Lam Hark is a private kitchen chef. His girlfriend left him right before the pandemic, and between Covid and heartbreak he sealed himself off from the world for three years. Now that the borders are finally open again, his friends push him onto a dating app — where he gets matched, out of nowhere, with a name buried for twenty years, full of heart-pounding memories: Zelda.

Back in the dial-up days of Y2K, a young Lam Hark — just discovering what it felt like to have a crush — met a girl in a chat room who called herself Princess Zelda, and who, mysteriously, was always hungry late at night. They lost touch before they ever got to meet in person — even though Link had already taught himself to cook for her, the first dish he ever made in his life. Fast forward twenty years. The app delivers an instant match, an instant date. Four different women, all named Zelda. Which one is the girl from back then?

From public housing flats to mansions tucked far far away, from street food to international cuisine and even fine dining — everything that's changed in Hong Kong, and everything that hasn't, along with all the quiet, complicated workings of the modern heart, come together course by course across a string of "no-menu" dates.

故事大綱
