SCM Alumni Association Hosted School's First-Ever Rummikub Party and Competition

On 14 August 2026, the SCM Alumni Association (SCMAA) hosted a first-of-its-kind event for the School: a Rummikub® Party and Competition at the Multimedia Theatre, Run Run Shaw Creative Media Centre.

The evening brought together the wider SCM circle—faculty, alumni, current students, friends, and family—to trade tiles and stories in equal measure. After two intense rounds, alumna Mok Chung Man was crowned champion, receiving the prize from Howard Cheng, Chairman of the SCMAA, alongside Cheung King Ting and Stanley Wong who claimed the First Runner-up and the Second Runner-up respectively.

The fantastic turnout and energy proved the magic of connecting the SCM community over nothing more complicated than 106 numbered tiles. Here's hoping this is the first of many. Stay tuned for news of the next SCMAA gathering!
