Mr Dick Thung graduated with a BEng (CUHK) and a MPhil (HKU) in engineering. After graduation, he worked in the software/ video game industry for around 15 years with trade experience on creative software development. His commercial projects ranged from PC RPG video games and mobile games to database encryption product. Some of the game titles that he helped to publish include Chinese Hero (TM), Identity(TM), World Castle (TM), and Wonder World(TM).

Currently his work and research interests are on real-time rendering, fluid simulation and software defined radio (SDR).
