Daniel Lik Hang CHAN is now a PhD candidate at City University of Hong Kong and teaches at Hong Kong Academy of Performing Arts. His research interests include Hollywood Cinema, Japanese Cinema, Cantonese Cinema, issues regarding film criticism, film aesthetics, film performance and the writings of Robin Wood. Aside from his academic output, he’s written film reviews and articles to Hong Kong Economic Journal, HK01 and Ming Pao. He is also committee members of Autonomous Cinema and Cantonese Cinema Studies Association.
