Ana Garner is currently researching the use of images in social media as micro visual narratives, with a particular emphasis on selfies. Prior to coming to Hong Kong, she worked for six years as a university professor in her native Brazil. In addition to teaching audiovisual classes, mainly for the Communications Program, Ana was also in charge of the university's international affairs office. With a background in Communication and Education, her work emphasize the critical analysis of media.
